- Wake up way too early and get up way too late not wanting to face the day.
- Do homeschool with Michael.
- Eat lunch while watching a Hallmark Christmas movie (trying to stop halfway
through so as not to waste too much time, but inevitably giving in) or a TV show.
- On most days, leave for an appointment for one of the following - pediatrician,
dentist, dermatologist, optometrist, hematologist, vascular surgeon, passport
agency, notary, travel nurse, ultrasound tech ... you name it!
- Squeeze in a trip to the grocery store every few days.
- Make dinner ... or have a small meltdown because I haven't gotten "anything"
done yet, and throw in the towel in the form of a stress-induced nap while
Collin the Wonderful makes dinner.
- Eat dinner and clean up dinner.
- Finally around 7 or 8pm start going through a room or closet in the house
so that I can stick to my schedule. I have a schedule! A day (or two or three)
for every room and closet. Gotta go through everything before the packers
come to take it all away.
- Go to bed too late and stay awake too late playing Words with Friends and
reading a silly book.
Now you know all of my secrets. I DO have time to blog. Especially if I have time to watch TV and read silly books. But at times like these I have to be picky about my distracting pastimes. Their sole purpose is to keep me sane. Sorry, but as much as I enjoy blogging, it isn't relaxing enough for my brain. And it takes way too much time. SO, it will have to wait until we have moved out of the house. The good news though is that I am somewhat miraculously sticking to my schedule.
In the meantime, I will hold a place here on my blog for the following:
PRAGUE
WATERGATE
DOVER
HADRIAN'S WALL
SCOTLAND
YORK
Some more London stuff including
BLETCHLEY PARK
ISTANBUL
OUR MOVE BACK HOME
&
DECEMBER HAPPENINGS
Are you bored yet? Yeah, it's going to be a lot to catch up on. I will start up blogging once we start our next adventure (after Dec 31), and then when life slows down I will play catch up on the old stuff. Life WILL slow down. We won't be traveling like crazy especially because Michael will be in school. And we are all traveled out.
Please be patient! Lots of fun transitional adventures ahead ...
